Product Description:
IOTA-611 is a polydimethylsiloxane with an inert methyl group at one end of the molecular chain and a dimethylsiloxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane at the other end. It has very good compatibility with double-ended and branched hydrogen-containing silicone oils and can be used as a hardness, elongation at break and modulus regulator for addition-type silicone rubber and silicone gel. It can also be used for hydrosilylation with compounds or polymers containing Si-CH=CH2 bonds to introduce inert polysiloxane chains into the end groups or side chains of compound or polymer molecules.

Product Applications:
This product is a macromolecular monomer with an inert trimethylsilyl group at one end and a reactive dimethyl group at the other end. It has good compatibility with double-terminal hydrogenated silicone oil, end-side hydrogenated silicone oil and side-group hydrogenated silicone oil. Through the silane addition reaction, it can chemically modify addition-type silicone rubber, silicone gel and compounds containing C=C double bonds and C≡C triple bonds, and adjust the hardness, modulus and elongation at break of silicone rubber, gel and other materials. In order to facilitate customers' needs for molecular design, the relative molecular weight and viscosity of this product can be customized.
Storage and Package:
1. 1kg, 5kg, 25kg, 200kg inner coated iron barrel or ton barrel, nitrogen filled and sealed.
2. Store in a cool and dry place, avoid contact with strong oxidants, acids, alkalis, and away from heat sources.
3. Storage period is 6 months. If it exceeds the period, it can be re-inspected according to the standard and can still be used if it passes.
