Clean
Most hydrocarbon solvents can remove uncured silicon. Polar solvents, such as ketone and ethanol, cannot be removed.
Packing and storage
1) Package: 20kg / drum, 200kg /drum.
2) Store at room temperature under 32°C to avoid exposure to rain and sunlight.
3) Shelf life: 12 months.
Q: What is coated liquid silicone rubber?
A: Coating liquid silicone rubber is a process in which liquid silicone rubber is evenly applied on the required surface through a coating method, and cured, fixed or cross-linked under appropriate conditions to form the required silicone rubber layer.
Q: What are the characteristics of coated liquid silicone rubber?
A: This coated silicone rubber generally has excellent high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, insulation and wear resistance. Its properties depend on the specific type of silicone rubber used and the conditions during curing.
Q: What are the application areas of liquid silicone rubber coating?
A: Coated liquid silicone rubber is widely used in various fields, such as industrial manufacturing, automobiles, electronics, medical equipment, etc. Its uses include sealing, insulation, coating protection and surface treatment.
Q: What are the coating methods for coating liquid silicone rubber?
A: Coating methods can include spraying, brushing, roller coating or dipping. Choose the most suitable coating method according to the specific application requirements and the properties of the material.
Q: What is the curing and processing process for coating liquid silicone rubber?
A: After silicone rubber is coated, it needs to be cured or fixed under appropriate temperature, humidity or other conditions according to the characteristics of the material and the guidelines provided by the manufacturer to form a stable silicone rubber layer.
Q: How to evaluate the performance of coated liquid silicone rubber?
A: Evaluating the performance of silicone rubber typically includes testing and evaluating aspects such as abrasion resistance, temperature resistance, chemical stability and surface adhesion of the coating.
