It has a high flash point and low freezing point, and can be used for long periods of time at temperatures ranging from -50°C to 200°C. It has a low viscosity-temperature coefficient, high compressibility, low surface tension, good hydrophobicity and moisture resistance, and low specific heat and thermal conductivity.
