Description:

The IOTA FLSR8400 series two-component addition-type liquid fluorosilicone rubber is a liquid polymer material made from polyfluorosiloxane containing ethylene as the base rubber, low fluorosiloxane containing silicon hydrogen as the crosslinking agent, and reinforced with fillers, using a platinum vulcanization system. It has excellent high and low temperature resistance, oil resistance, and electrical insulation, which can maintain stability in harsh environments for a long time. It is fast and convenient to form, has a short processing cycle, and a wide range of operating temperatures. It is very suitable for producing oil resistant parts in the fields of automobiles, ships, aerospace, power and electrical engineering. Additionally, it can be further expanded to consumer electronics, wearables, and healthcare, with broad application prospects.

Usage:

IOTA FLSR8400 series liquid fluorosilicone rubber is a two-component material, components A and B, packaged separately.

When in use, mix components A and B in a 1:1 weight ratio by mass in a three-roll mill or planetary mixer, then degas the mixture, molding and coating, curing can be achieved. The vulcanization process by an injection molding machine can be directly controlled by the platform.

 

Curing Conditions:

The curing time of the IOTA FLSR8400 series liquid fluorosilicone rubber depends on the curing temperature, thickness, and size of the cured product. When heated to 120°C, rapid curing can occur within a few seconds, with the rate optimized according to the size of the component. Recommended curing conditions are 1st curing at 120°C for 10 minutes and 2nd curing at 200°C for 4 hours. Please adjust the curing time reasonably according to actual production process.
 

Packaging:

Packed in 20kg/plastic drums

 

Shelf Life:

Store in a cool, dry environment, shelf life is 12 monthes in unopened original packing.

 

Precautions:

Avoid contact with compounds containing nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus, and heavy metals to prevent incomplete vulcanization or non-vulcanization of the product.
