Product Description

Resin characteristics and applications:
This product has excellent high and low temperature resistance, hydrophobicity and moisture resistance, as well as arc corona resistance. Its weather resistance and chemical stability are also excellent. After complete curing, this product has high hardness (≥ 5H), high gloss, good fullness, and good high-temperature resistance to yellowing.
IOTA 6072-15 can be widely used as a base resin for high-temperature resistant coatings, non stick coatings for kitchen appliances, and high-temperature resistant coatings.

Appearance: Colorless and transparent liquid
Solid content: 58 ± 1% (150 degrees for 1 hour)
Viscosity: 300~700 seconds (apply 4 cups, 25 ºC)
Acid value: 4-8mgKOH/g
Varnish film hardness: ≥ 5H (Chinese pencil hardness)
Curing method: This product can self dry at room temperature and has good dryness

This product is cured by high-temperature baking for better hardness. The best recommended temperature is 220 ºC for 30 minutes; 250 ºC for fifteen minutes; 280 ºC for ten minutes. Amino resin can be appropriately added, with the dosage controlled at 10-15% of IOTA 6072-15. Adding amino resin may cause slight yellowing at high temperatures.
Solvent usage: Butyl ester, PMA, etc. Benzene solvents cannot be used
