Product description
IOTA 210 Modified silicone oil is an alkyl modified trisiloxane, insoluble in water, compatible with ethanol and other organic solvents, it's an oil-soluble expansion agent. IOTA 210 oil-soluble extenders are widely used in personal care products and pesticide formulations, it can promote the absorption of the skin products and increase the pesticides performance on leaves with super-diffusion ability.
Product Features
As Oily expanders with excellent spreadability, low viscosity and low surface tension, as good solubilizers for silicone oil and hydrocarbon oil.
With excellent smooth feeling, reduce the dry feeling, with good cleaning function, without residue.
Enhance the shine and color fastness of lipstick, extend the spread of vegetable oil, reduce the adhesion and greasy feeling.

Applications
1. used in personal care products
• skin care products, such as moisturizers, hair gel, makeup-remove products, cleanser, sunscreen lotion
• cosmetics, such as lipstick, eye shadow
• hair clean & care products.
The usage is determined by formulation.
2. Used in pesticides
Based on the addition of the formula, the recommended concentration is 3-10%; based on the barrel mix spray addition, the usage is 0.03%-0.1%. Adding 5% oil-soluble additives/mineral oil or methyl oleate, can significantly increase the coverage area. IOTA 210 expander can improve the expansion performance of oil phase, to increase coverage area of pesticides.
Packaging and storage
1. Packed in 20kg/200kg drum or other.
2. Sealed and stored in a dry and cool place, shelf life is 2 years.
