IOTA FINE-SIL325 is used as reinforcement effect in tyres, rubber shoes and other products, to improve the product resistance to flexure, anti-cracking performance, improve the physical properties of the product. IOTA FINE-SIL517 silica particles can enhance the defoaming effect of defoamer. In the defoaming agent, the antifoaming action needs to be strengthened by silica particles. The silica particles were brought to the air foam by silicone oil and water interface and enter the bubble film, due to its hydrophobicity, and surfactant foaming liquid droplet contact angle is greater than 90°, thereby forcing the foaming liquid from the solid surface by hydrophobic particles, causing rapid discharge, local bubble rupture. Thus, due to the synergistic effect, the two components produced a good defoaming effect. It is widely used in defoamer industry.
