Its lowest glass transition temperature reaches -147°C, making it the silicone rubber with the best low-temperature resistance. Diethyl silicone rubber serves as the foundational material for rubber products in low-temperature applications, such as cryogenic equipment, high-latitude and high-altitude cold regions, aerospace, aviation, and deep-sea exploration.
 

Additionally, diethyl silicone rubber possesses a constant elastic modulus and constant damping factor, making it a critical raw material for damping and vibration reduction in precision electronic devices.
