Product Description

Resin characteristics and uses:
This product has good high and low temperature resistance, water-repellent and moisture-proof properties, good electrical insulation properties, and arc corona resistance. Its weather resistance and chemical resistance stability are also very good. This product can be surface dried at room temperature, and after complete curing, it has high hardness (≥1H), high gloss, and good fullness.
IOTA 6057 is widely used in high temperature resistant coatings (about 250-550ºC).

Indicators:
Appearance: light yellow to colorless transparent liquid, opalescent light is allowed, no mechanical impurities
Solid content: 50±1%
Viscosity: 25~65 seconds (apply 4 cups)
Hardness of varnish film after complete curing: ≥1H (Chinese pencil hardness)

Curing method:
This product can be surface dried at room temperature.
This product is fully cured by high temperature baking, 40 minutes at 200ºC; 20 minutes at 250ºC.
Adding amino resin can shorten the curing time.

Precautions:
a. The diluent used for this product must not contain water, sulfur compounds such as pyridine and their impurities, otherwise it will affect the adhesion, dryness and other properties of the resin paint film.
b. During the processing of this product, a large amount of flammable, explosive and toxic solvents such as xylene will evaporate. Attention should be paid to strengthening on-site ventilation, fire prevention, and strictly cutting off the source of fire. Operators should pay attention to labor protection.
c. The equipment and utensils used in the processing of this product must be clean. Strictly prevent the mixing of dust, foreign matter and water.
d. Acids, alkalis, organic acid salts and amine compounds have an accelerated curing effect on this product and affect the heat resistance and electrical properties. Therefore, this product should be strictly isolated from these substances during storage.

Storage:
The storage period of this product is tentatively set at 1 year. This product should be stored in a ventilated, cool and dry place to prevent direct sunlight; prevent serious pollution by acid and alkali solutions, and isolate the source of fire and stay away from heat sources.

Packaging:
This product is packaged in 200kg iron drums.
