Performance characteristics:
Hydroxyl silicone oil is an organosilicon material which is polymerized from siloxane monomer and has hydroxyl group at two ends of its molecule. Its structural formula is as follows:
HO-Si(CH3)2 O[Si(CH3)2O]nSi(CH3)2-OH
The chemical name is a, W-dihydroxypolydimethylsiloxane, and it is customary to call the hydroxyl silicone oil with a viscosity above 2500mPa.S 107 silicone rubber. In addition to the general properties of methyl silicone oil, this product also has the reactivity of hydroxyl, which can be used to make some new materials, or cross-linked into elastomers (or membranes).
Hydroxyl silicone oil is a colorless transparent liquid, with good electrical insulation and high and low temperature resistance, high flash point, low freezing point, can be used for a long time under the conditions of -50oC ~ +250oC, small viscosity temperature coefficient, high compression rate, low surface tension, good hydrophobic moisture resistance, chemical inertia, physiological inertia.

Usage:
Hydroxyl silicone oil can be used in different industries according to the hydroxyl content and viscosity.
1. Medium and high viscosity products are used as the base adhesive of paper anti-stick agent, and the cured film has good anti-stick effect. Such as label bottom paper, asphalt wrapping paper, sealing paper tape bottom paper, decoration paper bottom paper, etc.
2, used in power and electrical industry, as the main component of insulating paint or as a component of insulators.
3, used as a condensed room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber base and dilution material, such as sealant and mold glue base material.
4, instead of dimethyl silicone oil, and easy to emulsify.
5, small molecule hydroxyl silicone oil (25 ~ 30CP, hydroxyl content of about 8%) is the structure control agent of silicone rubber, with its replacement of diphenyl dihydroxysilane not only simplifies the processing of silicone rubber, improve the processing performance (eliminating heat treatment), but also increase the transparency of the product, improve the working conditions.

Usage and dosage
Hydroxyl silicone oil is generally used with curing agent to achieve cross-linked curing, used for anti-sticking paper, must also be fixed with coupling agent, generally the amount of curing agent accounts for 3 to 5% of the base glue, the coupling agent accounts for 0.5 to 1% of the base glue, in most cases, the base glue is diluted 10 times with solvent, then add curing agent and coupling agent to stir evenly, and then coated on the surface of the base material, room temperature or heating curing. It takes more than 30 minutes at room temperature and 30 seconds to heat 120 ~ 150oC. For sealants and mould-based adhesives without the use of solvents. After adding curing agent, stir well (single component and two-component curing agent are not the same), and 30 to 120 minutes after defoaming can be cured.

Precautions
Hydroxyl silicone oil should not be mixed with acid-base substances, alkoxysilane and water vapor at high temperatures, otherwise there is a tendency to cure and viscosity change.

Packing and storage
1. Hydroxysilicone oil should be stored in a clean plastic bucket, and should not be in contact with strong acids and alkali substances;
2. Store at room temperature in a cool and ventilated place;
